Starting middle school can be exciting, exhilarating, confusing and scary – all at the same time! Join health educators from myHealth for Teens & Young Adults for a fun and informative summer program to take some of the mystery out of middle school. Prepare to laugh, create, question, learn and grow!

This camp is for students of all genders entering 6th grade. We will explore how to take care of yourself during a time of big transition. Our goal is to empower students to be themselves and have a successful first year in middle school. Some of the topics we will explore include…

  • Healthy Friendships
  • Stress Management and Mental Health
  • Body Image and Self Esteem
  • Puberty and What to Expect
  • Exploring Identity – what makes you, YOU!

Parents and caregiver support is crucial to a successful transition. At the end of each session, myHealth will provide activities and conversation starters to continue these important conversations at home too!

When? Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays across two weeks:

  • July 30-August 1, 9am-12pm
