Our billing specialist can check to see if your insurance will cover a visit at myHealth. If you are not covered, not a problem: myHealth doesn’t turn away anyone for an inability to pay.
For clients 17 and under, general healthcare requires a parent or guardian’s signature. This includes vaccines, wellness physicals, asthma or sport physicals. Reproductive healthcare (STI screening, birth control, etc.) is confidential, even when the patient is under 18 in compliance with Minnesota State law. Clients 16 and older may consent to mental health services without a parent or guardian.
MyHealth staff will help you understand whether your insurance can be billed confidentially. Click here to see the most common insurances and how confidentiality works under their policies.
myHealth will NEVER turn you away for being unable to pay for your services. If you are unable to pay the “sticker price” for the service, myHealth staff will work with you and adopt a “pay what you can plan”, even if that means you pay $0. No matter what you pay, it will be a one time price. For medical visits, you will never have to pay again after your initial visit. See below for the set prices of services and call or email myHealth with any questions.
Yes! If you fit the income limits, myHealth can sign you up for Minnesota Family Planning Program (MFFP), a free and confidential state insurance program to help people with reproductive healthcare. myHealth also staffs a MNsure Navigator who can lead you through the entire process of applying for Medical Assistance, MinnesotaCare or plans purchased on the MNsure exchange. To schedule a time to apply, contact myHealth via email or phone. Meeting to apply is completely free.
