Leadership
Gerilyn has been with myHealth since January 2014. Since moving to Minneapolis in 2006 Gerilyn has held leadership positions at a variety of non-profits including The Saint Paul Foundation, Team Ortho Foundation and the Starkey Hearing Foundation. Prior to 2006 Gerilyn spent five years at the Eastern Washington University Foundation as the Associate Vice President for Advancement, Director of Advancement Services and Director of Finance. To myHealth, Gerilyn brings experience in program development, grant administration, community and donor engagement, successful fundraising and financial leadership. Originally from California, Gerilyn graduated from California Polytechnic University with a BS in Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant. Gerilyn lives in Deephaven with her husband and two children. She enjoys swimming, golfing, reading and staying active with her kids.
Connie started off at myHealth in 1997 as a clinic nurse. She left for 10 years to work as a nurse manager at TAMS with Children’s Hospitals and Clinics, then returned to myHealth in 2010 as clinic nurse manager and currently serves as the Director of Clinics. In this capacity, Connie supervises the operations of the medical clinic, mental health program, and visiting nurse program. Connie received her Registered Nurse license and BSN from Mankato State University. Connie lives in Chaska with her husband, and their two children. In her spare time, Connie loves cooking, reading and travel.
Dr. Loewenson joined myHealth in January 2017. Peter is board certified in pediatric and adolescent medicine. He graduated from the University of Chicago and the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. Peter received a Master of Public Health in epidemiology and completed a fellowship in adolescent medicine at the University of Minnesota. He is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Society for Adolescent Medicine. When not at myHealth, Peter also practices in general pediatrics and adolescent health at HealthEast. Peter enjoys camping and canoeing with his wife and two daughters, cycling, fly-fishing and skiing.
Kirsten joined myHealth in 2025 and serves as Development Director, where she is dedicated to elevating and expanding the organization’s impact for teens and young adults. She is committed to building a diverse and sustainable portfolio of funding sources, including government grants, community and faith-based grants, family foundations, corporate partnerships, and individual donors.
Kirsten brings extensive experience in international business development, having owned and operated Nordic Trading Company since 2006. A passionate civic and social-justice advocate, she has led initiatives in affordable housing, state and national campaigns, and support services for immigrant families. Guided by the late Senator Paul Wellstone’s belief that “We all do better when we all do better,” she is energized by the opportunity to bring together bright minds and generous hearts in service of community.
Kirsten holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Olaf College and is deeply grounded in the values of her Nordic heritage. She and her husband enjoy hosting, cooking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with their two adult children.
Claire has been the Director of Education Programs since February of 2025, and has been with myHealth since 2023. In this role, Claire oversees myHealth's Education Team and manages the programming myHealth engages with in local schools and other youth serving organizations. She leads and facilitates small and large group education, while developing, adapting and revising curricula for myHealth programs with insight from her team and other professionals. Claire is a compassionate and effective health educator who strives to create environments where youth can thrive and feel empowered in making health and relationship decisions. As an educator, her purpose is to advocate for youth and work towards lessening health disparities within myHealth's communities.
Claire holds a BS from the University of Alabama in Human Environmental Sciences, Public Health and an MPH (Masters of Public Health) from the University of Minnesota — Twin Cities with a specialization in Community Health Promotion. She enjoys reading, puzzling, rock climbing, hiking and spending time with her two kittens.
